Location: New York, NY (On-site, 4 days per week)

What You’ll Do

Revenue & Yield Strategy

• Own day-to-day yield optimization across display, video, and programmatic channels, driving revenue performance through pricing, inventory allocation, and demand channel strategy

• Monitor revenue pacing, inventory utilization, and forecast delivery to proactively identify risks and opportunities

• Develop and execute pricing and floor strategies leveraging auction dynamics, bid landscape insights, and historical performance trends

• Partner with Sales and Planning teams to optimize inventory packaging, availability, and monetization across direct and programmatic demand

Programmatic & Marketplace Optimization

• Manage and optimize performance across programmatic channels, including open exchange, private marketplaces (PMPs), and programmatic guaranteed deals

• Build strategic relationships with SSPs, DSPs, exchanges, and agency trading desks to maximize demand and yield performance

• Analyze auction-level data (win rates, bid density, CPM trends) to inform pricing strategies and marketplace positioning

• Stay current on industry trends across programmatic, video, and emerging monetization channels to inform strategic recommendations

Analytics, Reporting & Insights

• Build and maintain scalable reporting frameworks that provide visibility into revenue, yield, inventory, and marketplace performance

• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders

• Deliver regular business updates, including weekly pacing reports, revenue forecasts, and executive-level presentations

• Identify and implement new KPIs and measurement frameworks to improve monetization transparency and decision-making

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner closely with Ad Sales, Ad Operations, Finance, Product, and Engineering to align monetization strategies with broader business objectives

• Collaborate with Ad Tech teams to optimize ad stack performance, troubleshoot discrepancies, and improve data integrity across systems

• Contribute to monthly revenue close processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reconciliation of revenue across channels

• Lead or support cross-functional initiatives to improve workflow efficiency across the “pitch to pay” lifecycle

Data & Systems Ownership

• Maintain deep expertise in core platforms including Google Ad Manager (GAM), Salesforce, OMS platforms (e.g., AdPoint), and programmatic tools

• Work with data engineering teams to enhance data pipelines, automate reporting, and improve accessibility of business-critical insights

• Ensure data quality through ongoing QA processes and reconciliation across multiple data sources

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of experience in digital advertising, with a focus on yield management, programmatic monetization, ad operations, or revenue analytics

• Strong understanding of the programmatic ecosystem, including SSPs, DSPs, auction dynamics, and deal structures (PMP, PG, Open Exchange)

• Experience with ad serving platforms such as Google Ad Manager (GAM); video/CTV experience is a strong plus

• Proven ability to manage revenue pacing, inventory utilization, and forecasting in a fast-paced environment

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.) preferred

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex datasets into clear business insights and recommendations

• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Ad Tech, and Product

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering insights to senior leadership

• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management capabilities

Nice to Have

• Experience with video and/or CTV monetization ecosystems

• Familiarity with FreeWheel or other video ad serving platforms

• Experience working with agency trading desks or programmatic partners

• Exposure to pricing strategy, yield curves, or inventory forecasting models

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $80,000-$115,000 USD Annually + Benefits

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level.
