🚀 About the Team

The Profitability team, within the Technical Department, oversees the performance of insurance products distributed by our partner network. Actuaries conduct actuarial studies, analyze loss ratios, issue alerts in case of profitability deviations, and propose corrective actions to ensure that Wakam's products align with profitability goals while meeting regulatory standards. They also communicate profitability trends to top management, partners, and cross-functional teams.

🎯 Your Mission

As a Pricing Actuary, you are the technical owner of the partner portfolios in your scope. Your mission is to develop and improve pricing, monitor profitability, and turn analyses into concrete actions—internally and with partners—so that portfolios remain profitable, controlled, and scalable.

🧠 What You Bring

You bring strong actuarial and analytical fundamentals, and the ability to deliver decision-grade work. In particular, you have:

• Solid experience in pricing and portfolio monitoring, with the ability to connect performance signals to actionable levers.

• Strong skills in building and using dashboards, monitoring tools, and ad-hoc analyses to steer profitability.

• The ability to work effectively with Business Development and partner stakeholders, balancing technical accuracy with business constraints.

• Comfort collaborating with Reserving on provisioning-related topics for the portfolios in your scope.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce clear, auditable recommendations and present them in governance settings.
