Press Operator/Tool Room

Position: Robotic Press Operator / Tool Room Helper
Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Shift: 3rd Shift (Monday – Thursday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, with Friday hours as needed)
Wage Range: $25 - $30/hour to start depending on experience
Position Type: Direct Hire

We are currently looking for a mechanically inclined individual to join a leading Tier 1 automotive company in Sterling Heights, MI as a Robotic Press Operator / Tool Room Helper. This is a great opportunity for candidates with experience in press operations or tool room support who are eager to grow their careers.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and pull dies for repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with die changeovers to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform start-up, shutdown, and changeover of robotic and press-related equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify solutions.
• Maintain robotic press lines to ensure they meet operational standards.
• Conduct safety checks and automation inspections regularly.
• Handle cutting, banding, final inspection, and labeling of finished goods.
• Perform housekeeping duties, record-keeping, and scrap removal.
