Press Operator Assistant (3rd Shift)

Job Summary:

The Press Operator Assistant supports the operation of printing or manufacturing press equipment by assisting with setup, material handling, quality checks, and basic maintenance. This role also requires the ability to accurately enter production data into computer systems, ensuring proper documentation and workflow tracking.

This position is on 3rd shift

Responsibilities::
• Assist the Press Operator with machine setup, operation, and shutdown procedures

• Load and unload materials (paper, metal sheets, or other substrates) into the press

• Monitor press operations to ensure consistent quality and efficiency

• Inspect finished products for defects and report issues to the operator or supervisor

• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards

• Perform basic preventative maintenance and cleaning of press equipment

• Enter production data, job details, and output metrics into computer systems accurately

• Track inventory usage and assist with material counts

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• Support troubleshooting efforts and escalate equipment issues as needed
