Position Type: Full-Time, 1st shift

Pay Range: $18 - $20 per hour

Position Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm

Position Overview

The Prescriber Outreach Pharmacy Technician is responsible for contacting provider offices to clarify prescription information. This role supports safe and accurate medication dispensing by ensuring all necessary details are confirmed and communicated clearly. It requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work within digital pharmacy systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle phone calls and make outgoing calls to assist patients and healthcare providers.

• Manage payments and maintain accurate financial records.

• Provide efficient solutions to inquiries about orders, including payment, shipping, and processing.

• Respond to text messages promptly for easy communication.

• Facilitate communication between pharmacists and technicians to ensure smooth patient care.

Required Qualifications

• An active Arizona State Technician license

• Previous experience working in a customer service or call center environment within the pharmaceutical or healthcare space

• Proficiency in basic math and general PC skills, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• High School Diploma or GED

• A clean criminal record with no felonies

Preferred Qualification:

• Current and valid PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification is required.

Work Environment

• Regularly stand to communicate and engage with patients and colleagues.

• Frequently use your hands for handling documentation, accessing information, and ensuring smooth operations.

• Occasionally stand and walk within the facility.

• Capable of lifting and moving items, even up to 50 pounds.

• Work predominantly indoors in a collaborative setting with peers and pharmacists.
