Preschool Teacher
Reports To: Preschool Director
Primary Function: Prepare students for elementary school by fostering growth in a developmentally appropriate early childhood learning environment.
Hours: M-F; 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Start Date: July 29, 2026 (expected)
Anticipated Pay: $26.88/hour

Requirements
Educational Level: Some college education preferred.
Certification/License: CDE Early Childhood Education endorsement (credential preferred)
Experience: 1+ years previous preschool experience required
Physical Activities: Must be able to pick up children weighing between 30-40 pounds.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Understanding the needs of young children while working on a team with a spirit of cooperation.

Essential Duties
Design and implement developmentally appropriate instructional activities aligned with Core Knowledge curriculum and state standards.
Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that supports children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
Conduct ongoing observation and assessment of student progress, maintaining consistent and effective communication with families.
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Collaborate effectively with preschool team members and support staff to enhance program quality and student outcomes.
Engage in continuous professional development and actively contribute to school initiatives and events.

Anticipated Salary and Benefits
The anticipated starting pay rate for this position is $26.88 depending on experience and skill level.
