We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team in Bengaluru, India. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and fostering a love for learning in a safe and nurturing environment.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
• Plan and prepare materials for daily activities, projects, and display boards
• Lead engaging activities such as arts and crafts, music and singing, storytelling, and imaginative play
• Incorporate technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance children's understanding of basic concepts
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and preparing reports for parents
• Communicate regularly with parents through meetings and progress updates
• Ensure the safety and well-being of children by maintaining a clean and organized classroom
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning experience
• Adhere to all school policies, procedures, and educational standards
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)
• Valid teaching certification or license as required by the state
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
• Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues
• Creativity and enthusiasm in developing engaging learning activities
• Patience and ability to manage a classroom of young children effectively
• Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Knowledge of health and safety practices in a preschool setting
• Physical ability to engage in activities with children and lift up to 30 pounds
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
