Building Kidz of Mesa is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to serve as a Lead Teacher for our Twos & Threes classroom. If you're passionate about helping little ones navigate this exciting time with confidence and joy, as well as fostering their growth and development, this role is for you!
REQUIREMENTS:
1+ years of experience
Meets the experience criteria required by the state
High School Diploma or equivalent
CPR, Food Handlers Card and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
24 units of ECE or CDA preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guide our two & and three-year-old students through the potty-training journey with patience, encouragement, and positivity.
Create a nurturing and engaging environment where threes can explore, learn, and thrive.
Develop and implement fun and age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Partner with parents to support continuity between home and school during this exciting milestone.
Foster a sense of independence, confidence, and self-esteem in each child as they conquer this milestone.
FULL TIME! Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm is the tentative schedule.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed primarily in the center environment. Centers are dynamic with a high level of activity.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and stand for up to 95% of the day.
Assume posture at low levels, stoop, sit on the floor and bend down numerous times per day
Agility to move from a seated to a standing position quickly to respond to children's needs
Perform all activities with children for prolonged periods, such as dancing, jumping, running, and walking
Can perform all duties both indoors and outdoors
Possess acceptable hearing and vision capabilities to monitor the well-being
of children.
