We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Preop Lead Nurse to oversee the delivery of exceptional, evidence‑based care within our Pre‑Assessment service. This is a senior clinical leadership position, responsible for ensuring high standards of patient care, operational efficiency, and a safe, organised working environment.
The Preop Lead will manage the day-to-day service, including both Face‑to‑Face and telephone-based pre-assessments, while providing strong clinical leadership and supporting the wider outpatient team. The role involves balancing clinical responsibilities with key management duties, supporting workforce planning, and leading on HR-related functions for the team.
The post holder will be a visible clinical leader, spending approximately 75% of their time within the outpatient nursing rota, contributing directly to patient care.
