The Opportunity
The Ottawa Senators are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented intern to join our Premium Sales and Service team as a Premium Client Services Intern. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with an NHL franchise and become fully engaged in the business of a major league sports team.
The Premium Client Service Intern(s) will work intensively with the Premium Sales and Service team assisting in the development of professional relationships and providing customer service to suite owners and premium clients of Senators Sports & Entertainment. This team is responsible for retaining an outstanding level of client service and providing exceptional fan experiences through partnerships and events.
Terms Available: Fall 2026 & Winter 2027
Number of vacancies: 2 each semester
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the ticket delivery and processing for multiple Premium client accounts
Assist in the planning, coordination and implementation of client events
Assist coordinators with maintaining and coordinating key client files, correspondence, contact lists and client database
Research and make recommendations to improve suites program
Promote a sales and service culture within team that maximizes sales, raving fan initiative, service and retention of suite holders and Premium seat Owners
Participate in the development of a customer care program for suite holders to assist clients maximize their ticket usage including but not limited development of a Ticket Usage / Best
Assist with VIP experiences on game nights
Assist with other assignments as required
Qualifications (what we look for)
Must be currently enrolled in a University Degree or College Diploma program requiring completion of an internship for credit
Strong communications and research skills
Organized and detail oriented
Ability to work under pressure
Good knowledge of Microsoft programs (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Customer service experience
Flexible work hours required (Ability to work evenings, weekends and game nights as required)
Bilingualism is an asset

The Club delivers world-class sport and live entertainment experiences to the Ottawa-Gatineau region while operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across hockey operations, business operations, and event delivery, with a shared commitment to excellence, integrity, and community impact.
What We Offer
This internship offers an annual salary of $37,000, pro-rated for the duration of the term, along with hands-on, real-world experience in the sports industry. Interns receive two weeks of vacation accrued monthly and pro-rated to the length of the internship, as well as paid sick leave. Additional benefits include complimentary parking at the Canadian Tire Centre, access to tickets for select events, a free corporate GoodLife Fitness membership, and an employee discount at the Sens Store. The organization also has an active social committee that hosts multiple events throughout the year, and interns are welcome to attend these social engagements, along with opportunities to volunteer at signature events with the Senators Community Foundation.
