Practice Nurse

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated Registered Practice Nurse to join our friendly, well-supported team at NorthCare Thomas Road in Rototuna.

This is a fantastic role for an experienced primary care nurse who enjoys variety and working closely with their community. You’ll be part of a collaborative team delivering whānau-centred care, where relationships and continuity matter.

In this role, you’ll be involved in a range of clinical work, including:

Immunisations and cervical screening

Chronic condition management (e.g. diabetes, asthma)

Acute presentations and triage

Health education and preventative care

He kōrero mōu: About you 

Ideally you will:

Hold a current annual practising certificate (APC) (essential).

Have experience within the primary health care sector (desirable).

Have the ability to maintain high standards of clinical services.

Be computer literate with experience in OMS, MS Office, Indici knowledge is desirable.

Have a positive can-do attitude where the best interests of the patients come first.

Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and ability to provide direction.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
