Legal Operations & Team Support

• Support the legal team's workflow, including triaging and responding to incoming requests.

• Provide ad hoc support on commercial paralegal queries.

• Implement and improve processes to enhance the team's efficiency and responsiveness.

• Act as the first point of contact for internal stakeholders on routine legal and governance queries.

• Coordinate with external advisers and manage relationships with other service providers.

Risk & Compliance

• Support the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.

• Contribute to risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.

• Maintain compliance registers and ensure timely completion of compliance activities.

Proactive Business Partnering

• Build strong relationships across the business to understand operational needs.

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce legal risk.

• Provide practical, commercial advice on day-to-day matters.

Person Specification

• 10-15 years' experience in a legal or corporate environment, ideally including governance, or legal operations exposure.

• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.

• Excellent organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to engage effectively at all levels.

Qualifications

• Experienced paralegal or legal executive (CILEx).

• Company secretarial qualification (ICSA) or demonstrable equivalent experience is highly desirable but not essential.
