Job Description

Role Outline

Reporting to the Commercial Director, manage the Amenity PPP portfolio including product innovations, pricing, and supply.

Manage and develop PPP supply chain, identify and grow preferred supplier relationships and preferential sourcing, pricing, and terms of trade.

Provide proactive advice to colleagues and end users on product best use and availability.

Main Responsibilities 

Negotiate and secure Amenity PPP product portfolio, pricing, terms of trade with manufacturers

Manage business strategy to achieve annual PPP sales goals

Identify and inform colleagues and end users of product innovations

Support and deliver relevant training to colleagues and end users to increase knowledge and awareness of product portfolio developments

Establish and promote role as key influencer within the Amenity PPP portfolio to the industry and influencers

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights through a data driven approach to inform commercial decisions

Identify new market opportunities and lead commercial evaluation of new products, services, and channels

Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and technical team to align product offerings, campaigns, and go-to-market approaches

Ensure commercial compliance and risk management practices are in place and upheld across the business

Skills & Experience

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to motivate, negotiate and influence both individuals and teams

Excellent IT skills

An ability to handle sensitive and confidential issues and manage conflict effectively

Excellent planning and organisational skills

Proven problem-solving capability

Proven ability to communicate and work collaboratively with staff at all levels

Minimum five year’s experience within the Ag/Amenity Chem business

Experience of working to tight deadlines

Qualifications 

Educated to degree level or equivalent along with experience in a similar or related role

Proven track record of extensive relevant work experience
