This position will be responsible for PP trading of Tricon Energy China and directly report to Global PP product manager.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Purchase and sale transaction profitability for PP products.
• Developing and expanding relationships with the key decision makers within all critical supplier organizations for sourcing of products, and with the key purchasing decision makers within critical customer organizations for sale of products.
• Developing creative approaches to the purchase and sale of products, generating strategies for production of profits in both long and short market scenarios.
• Analyzing and benchmarking supply/demand conditions, historical trends and projections of consumption, availability, manufacturing capacity utilization and competitive pricing strategies for the product group.
• Developing the team's business strategy, profit targets, action plan and performance measurement criteria. • Initiating and concluding profitable trading transaction with minimum risk and maximum return.
• Coordinates inbound and outbound material transportation to ensure there are no stock outs. Prepares reports for senior management regarding material control activities.
• Provides analysis and inputs to maximize efficiency in product movements, stocking points, and production locations.
Qualifications/Skills:
• Highly familiar with Plastics products and the industry.
• Rich experience in strategic sourcing and business development.
• Pro-active, self-motivated individual with a high energy level and sense of urgency.
• A "self-starter", who is able to work with minimum supervision, recognizing potential opportunities and taking timely, appropriate action.
• "Bottom-line" orientation, utilizing creative problem-solving skills to bring transactions to profitable conclusion.
• Effective time manager who keeps commitments and consistently meets deadlines.
• Good communicator, throughout all levels of the company, suppliers and customers.
