Job Description

We are looking for an experienced PowerBuilder Developer to design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise applications built using PowerBuilder. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with PowerBuilder (versions 10 and above), solid understanding of SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase), and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Requirements:
• Design, develop, and maintain applications using PowerBuilder.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and code.
• Create and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot application issues to ensure smooth operation and performance.
• Participate in application migration, modernization, or upgrade projects as needed.
• Document application designs, technical specifications, and system processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analysts, testers, infrastructure teams) to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Provide production support and resolve user issues on a timely basis.
Strong hands-on experience with PowerBuilder (versions 10.x to 12.x or later).
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts (Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase ASE/IQ, etc.).
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control, and best practices.
• Familiarity with other programming languages (e.g., .NET, Java) is a plus.
• Experience with web service integration and API calls (nice to have).
