Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to design, develop, and implement robust data visualizations and business applications. The ideal candidate will also have experience in Powers Apps development and will also have a strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and application development within the Microsoft Power Platform.

Responsibilities:
•

•Design, develop, and maintain complex datasets and dashboards in Power BI.
•Build and deploy custom business applications using Power Apps.
•Optimize Power BI datasets for performance and scalability.
•Connect to and integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
•Apply dimensional modeling techniques in Power BI to create efficient and user-friendly data models.
•Evaluate data requirements and determine the optimal approach between Power BI modeling and source-level transformations.
•Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
•Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members, clearly communicating tasks and progress.
•Ensure data governance and security standards are followed.

Requirements:
•

• 8+ years of experience working with reporting and data visualization tools.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Report Builder, and Power BI Apps.
• Deep expertise in Power Query and DAX for data transformation and calculations.
• Strong understanding of Power BI dimensional modeling principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis (required).
• Solid understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
• Hands-on experience developing applications using Power Apps (required).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and mentor team members.

Nice to have:
• Experience with Power BI Report Builder for creating paginated reports.
• Experience with other components of the Power Platform (e.g., Power Automate).
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
