Job Title: Power Systems Design Engineer
Location: Marietta, OH
Job Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000/year (DOE)

Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to contribute to the design and development of advanced power protection and distribution systems. This is a long-term, direct hire opportunity offering hands-on engineering work, collaboration across teams, and strong growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design electrical systems at the product level, including component selection, thermal considerations, and interconnection hardware

• Apply knowledge of analog and digital circuitry, magnetics, and thermal design principles

• Develop technical documentation such as schematics, specifications, and bills of materials

• Design power and control circuits for switchboard applications

• Integrate third-party components into power distribution systems

• Participate in design reviews to ensure reliability and performance

• Provide ongoing engineering support for both new and existing products

• Troubleshoot electrical systems and subsystems in a hands-on environment

• Assist with compliance and safety certifications (UL, CSA, IEC standards)

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)

• Experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD/design software

Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers)

• Experience working with three-phase power systems

• Strong technical writing and communication skills

• Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
