Job Summary:

The Power Applications Administrator will play a key role in 2nd level support maintaining business applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow), and Power BI. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, design and potenitally also develop/change existing solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:
Maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Develop/Change custom applications, workflows, and reports to meet business requirements.

Application Administration:
Manage and administer Power Platform environments, including security, data loss prevention, and compliance.
Ensure application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Integration and Connectivity:
Integrate Power Platform applications with other Microsoft products, such as Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Office 365.
Develop connectors and APIs to integrate with external systems and services.

Data Management:
Design and implement data models, entities, and relationships using Power Platform’s Common Data Service (CDS).
Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.

Testing and Quality Assurance:
Develop and execute testing plans to ensure application functionality and performance.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Deployment and Maintenance:
Deploy applications to production environments, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as backups, updates, and patches.

Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and external partners.
Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding of application capabilities and limitations.

Documentation and Knowledge Management:
Develop and maintain documentation for applications, including design documents, user guides, and technical notes.
Contribute to knowledge management efforts, sharing best practices and lessons learned with the team.

Dein Profil:
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:
At least 3 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Experience with application development, administration, and maintenance.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Power Platform development tools, such as Power Apps Studio and Power Automate.
Knowledge of data modeling, entity relationships, and data management principles.
Familiarity with Microsoft products, including Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Office 365.

Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

Nice to Have:
Certifications: Microsoft Power Platform certifications, such as Power Apps Developer or Power Automate Developer.
Experience with other technologies: Familiarity with other low-code development platforms, such as Salesforce or Google App Maker.
Cloud experience: Experience with cloud-based services, such as Azure or AWS.
