We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive professional to join our EPMO team as a Power BI & PMIS Expert, with a strong background in Engineering and Infrastructure projects. This role is pivotal in supporting the digital transformation of our project management practices by enhancing data analytics, automation, systems integration, and organizational awareness of digital solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Power BI dashboards, data validation, project controls, KPIs, and PMIS systems, with proven experience in managing large datasets across projects, programs, and portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

Power BI & Data Analytics

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards tailored to Infrastructure project needs (Projects, Programs & Portfolios).
• Develop and implement automated data models and ETL processes from diverse sources.
• Ensure data integrity and validation of large, complex datasets coming from multiple project sources.

• Integrate project schedule, cost, risk, and resource data into centralized reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to track construction project KPIs, including cost, schedule, progress, quality, risk, etc.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and cost control teams to gather and integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel).
• Implement automated data models to ensure real-time updates and reduce manual reporting efforts.
• Translate raw data into actionable insights to support project planning, forecasting, and performance reviews.
• Support earned value analysis (EVA), critical path monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Maintain data integrity and validation processes to ensure accurate reporting.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required by senior management.
• Document dashboard user guides and train project stakeholders as needed.

 

Education:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in engineering/IT/Data Science, or related field.
• Certification in Power BI, Project Controls, or Data Analytics is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of experience.
• Experience in Large Development and Construction Programmes or Portfolio’s preferably reporting to senior Client representatives.
• Proven hands-on experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards in a construction or infrastructure environment.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Experience with large-scale capital projects (CAPEX) or multi-site construction programs is preferred.

Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and dashboard design.
• Good understanding of construction project lifecycle and control processes (cost, time, scope).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience integrating data from multiple systems.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), KPIs, and reporting standards in construction.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical data into clear visual stories for both technical and non-technical audiences.
