Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, transforming data into meaningful insights, and delivering high-quality Power BI dashboards and SSRS reports that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
• Build and manage SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) reports
• Translate business needs into data models and visualization solutions
• Optimize report performance and ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Work closely with data engineering teams for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
• Implement best practices for Power BI development and governance
• Manage Power BI service (workspace, datasets, dataflows, security)
• Ensure proper documentation of reports, dashboards, and processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in Power BI Development (DAX, Power Query, data modeling)
• Hands-on experience with Power BI Platform Engineering (deployment, governance, security)
• Proficiency in SSRS reporting
• Strong SQL skills for data querying and transformation
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Experience working in Data Engineering / Data & Analytics environments
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in banking or financial services domain (preferred)
• Familiarity with Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse is a plus)
• Knowledge of data governance and reporting standards
