Job Description

As a BI Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data integration processes. You will ensure data quality, create standardized reporting frameworks, and support our business teams with self-service visualization and insights. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and storytelling abilities to communicate insights effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Engineering:

Design and implement data integration workflows (ELT) to consolidate data into a single source of truth.

Perform data standardization and cleansing to ensure data integrity and quality.

Develop aggregations and calculations for key performance indicators (KPIs) to support reporting needs.

Data Modeling:

Create and maintain dimensional models to support efficient reporting and analytics.

Standardize data structures to enhance usability and accessibility across teams.

Reporting and Visualization:

Develop descriptive reports and dashboards using BI tools, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Enable self-service data visualization capabilities for end-users.

Provide training and support to business teams on BI tools and processes.

Business Analysis:

Collaborate with product, growth, and other departments to understand their data needs and provide insightful analysis.

Utilize storytelling techniques to convey complex data insights and support commercial, financial, and strategic decision-making.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct testing and validation of data processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Manage release processes for BI solutions, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a BI Developer, Data Engineer, or similar role.
• Proficiency in data integration tools and ETL processes.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with Power BI
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Solid understanding of SQL and data manipulation techniques.
• Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and testing frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to tell compelling stories with data.
