Power BI Developer

Job Description & Summary

Every IT solution is based on data, therefore the area of data management is key for all IT projects. The DATA Department at PwC IT Services is a group of specialists with deep understanding of business needs of our customers allowing the solutions we design to fully meet the expectations of all users.  
We design Data Warehouses, configure Reporting Systems, plan and execute Data Migration processes for companies from various industry sectors.  
Our engineers take care of Data Quality, optimize SQL and procedural code regardless of the technology and define flows in ETL/ELT processes 
Analysts and Data Architects develop an enterprise-wide approach to data and data related issues. 

We are looking for:   
Power BI Developer  

Your future role: 

• participate in Data Analytics Platforms delivery for customers from variety of industries, 
• work with customers to understand their needs, present and discuss results of your work e.g. reports prototypes, proposed data visualisations, final reports & dashboards etc. 
• design and build reports and dashboards in Power BI (and\or other reporting tool depending on professional experience and client requirements), 
• analyse data sources, integrate data, identify gaps and inconsistencies in data, 
• analyse and design of data models, 
• support design and implementation of data ingestions processes, 
• share your knowledge with less experienced teammates, 
• contribute to standards and delivery guidelines used in our Data Practice. 
• possibility to cooperate as a sole proprietor or business entity in Poland due to the project‑based nature of the engagement. 

Apply if you have: 

• at least 5 years of commercial experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics solutions delivery, 
• at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Power BI, 
• very good knowledge of SQL, 
• good knowledge of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), 
• data modelling skills, 
• data visualisation skills, 
• understanding of data warehouse models, 
• strong analytical skills, 
• very good communication skills (both oral and written communication),  
• team player (experience in working in international environment is a plus), 
• good command of English (C1 level). 

Nice to have: 

• hands-on experience with Power Apps, 
• hands-on Experience with cloud data platforms (Databricks, MS Fabric, Snowflake) + "Python", 
• knowledge of procedural SQL languages e.g. T-SQL, 
• familiarity with ETL tools e.g. Azure Data Factory, 
• familiarity with Power BI external tool like DAX Studio, Tabular Editor.
