About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Powder Coater to join our Coating Team based in Tauranga. As a key member of our Industrial Coating team, you’ll be responsible for powder coating components used in the production of commercial mowing equipment. Your precision, consistency, and attention to detail will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and durability that Trimax products are known for.

As a Powder Coater at Trimax, you will:

Prep metal components through blasting and cleaning to industry standards.

Prime and finish parts to ensure maximum durability and aesthetic quality.

Apply powder coating and wet paint using manual spray systems.

Operate and maintain all coating and blasting equipment safely and effectively.

Inspect finished parts for quality and consistency against Trimax standards.

Work collaboratively with fabrication, assembly, and quality teams.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in powder coating, blasting, and wet painting, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong attention to detail and high standards for finish quality.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

A solid understanding of workplace safety and handling of coating materials.

Relevant trade qualifications are a plus, but not mandatory.
