Paint Line Inspector

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Paint Line Inspector to support our production team by ensuring painted parts meet quality and finish standards. This role is responsible for performing visual inspections, identifying surface defects, and communicating findings to the paint line team to support efficient production and consistent quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform visual inspections of painted parts to ensure surface quality and proper finish.
• Identify defects such as runs, scratches, incomplete coverage, or other surface imperfections.
• Document inspection results using paper or electronic forms.
• Communicate quality concerns and inspection findings to the paint line lead or supervisor.
• Monitor parts throughout the inspection process to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Maintain consistent attention to detail to identify defects in a fast-paced production environment.
• Follow established inspection procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area in accordance with the Kane Innovations Safety Program.
• Work collaboratively with production team members to support paint line efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Basic communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to wear required PPE.
Physical Demands:
Ability to remain in a stationary position or move as needed throughout the inspection process.
• Frequent visual focus on detailed surface finishes at close range.
• Occasional reaching, handling, and use of hands for documentation or part handling.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with standard production conditions.
