What the Role Delivers

To provide customer service whether it is for a breakdown, overhauls, maintenance, verifications or to make the customer feel safe and satisfied with our equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Guarantee the correct mechanical, electrical and electronic operation of all Agrofresh machinery in time, cost and quality.
To travel to the customer's facilities for maintenance purposes, either corrective or preventive.
To implement and execute preventive maintenance programs.
Perform corrective maintenance, when necessary.
Follow up the installations and equipment, proposing actions to improve them.
Perform adjustments and verifications of measurement and consumption equipment for the correct operation of the machinery.
Control that the safety systems of the machines work correctly.
To watch over their own safety and that of others, complying with the prevention measures adopted.
Proper use of machinery, apparatus, tools, hazardous substances or any means with which they carry out their activity, as well as personal protective equipment.
Any other task of a similar nature that is entrusted to the employee by his or her superior, as well as those that may be attributed to them, temporarily, to fill the vacancy, absence or illness of other personnel of the department.

What the Job Requires

Certificate of Higher Education in Electromechanical or similar.
Good knowledge in Office Packet.
Food handler's license.
Fork-lift truck driver's license.
Lift platforms and work at height license.
Basic knowledge of Office.
Basic knowledge of automaton programming.
Phytosanitary products license
Confined spaces course.
From 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Drive license, ability to displacements.
Work permit

Local Details

Working conditions:

The position must have auditory and visual attention, generally sitting and walking inside the factory for daily work.
The work is carried out in a factory, with adequate temperature, natural environmental humidity, normal hygiene characteristics, suitable lighting and good structure.
90% of the working day must be spent traveling to visit customers.
