Job Description

Database Quality Test Engineer

Responsibilities

Utilize a UBS custom tailored application deployment framework (EUPS) to deliver Application Releases into the enterprise environment, most are packaged as AppV, Numecent, or MSI packages.

Deliver new or updated application releases that target over 100’000 users and over 20’000 physical

machines.

Collaborate locally within a team of up to five individuals in India, and work remotely with team members in

Switzerland and USA.

Ensure support of Application Deployers in the team, and custom database solution operates with reliable

updates.

Occasionally participate in application deployment tasks.

Run complex tests over application deployment framework PostgreSQL Database and Front-End client

(WebUI and fat Client)

Document the solutions at an engineering level as well at the user level

Provide the support for stakeholders and users

Troubleshoot Application Deployment Issues (work on Support Queue)

Qualifications

5 years of experience with writing complex SQL Queries (PostgreSQL preferred)

Solid understanding of SQL Relational Databases

Organized individual with attention to detail and quality

Good communication skills
