Mercier Consultancy is seeking a Portuguese-Speaking Content Moderator for our Social Media Department, located in Greece! In this key role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and quality of our clients' social media platforms. Your fluency in Portuguese will enable you to effectively monitor and manage user-generated content and foster a positive community atmosphere.
As a Content Moderator, you will review submissions, engage with users, and enforce community guidelines to create an inviting online environment. Your strong attention to detail and analytical skills will be instrumental in identifying and addressing inappropriate content while promoting positive interactions among users. Responsibilities
• Monitor and moderate user-generated content across various social media channels in Portuguese
• Review and assess submitted content to ensure compliance with community guidelines and brand standards
• Engage with users through comments and messages, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
• Report and manage any instances of inappropriate behavior or content within the community
• Collaborate with the social media team to enhance brand messaging and user engagement
• Analyze community feedback to inform moderation practices and content strategy
• Stay updated on current social media trends and effective content moderation techniques
Requirements:
• Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and verbal, is required. Your nationality and native language must be clearly stated in your C.V. and/or Cover Letter.
• Prior experience with social media platforms and content moderation is preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Able to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in content moderation, community management, or customer service is advantageous
• A genuine passion for social media and a commitment to fostering positive online communities
