Mercier Consultancy is looking for a skilled Portuguese Customer Service Representative to join our Client, a leading Payment Solutions Provider, based in Athens, Greece. In this role, you will be the frontline support for Portuguese-speaking clients, assisting them with inquiries regarding payment solutions, account management, and transaction issues.
Your proficiency in Portuguese will enable you to deliver effective communication and excellent customer service, ensuring clients have a smooth experience with our payment services. You will work closely with internal teams to resolve issues promptly and contribute to customer satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
• Provide exceptional customer service in Portuguese related to payment solutions and services
• Assist clients with account inquiries, payment processing, and troubleshooting transaction issues
• Resolve complaints professionally, escalating complex issues when necessary
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system
• Collaborate with technical and finance teams to ensure timely issue resolution
• Collect customer feedback to improve service delivery and product functionality
• Stay informed about payment industry trends and company offerings
Requirements:
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential, with excellent communication skills. Your nationality and native language must be clearly stated in your C.V. and/or Cover Letter.
• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in payment solutions, fintech, or financial services
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach
• Ability to manage multiple inquiries efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Familiarity with CRM systems and customer support software
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
