To be in charge of the strategy and execution of Sustainable Finance assets and attendant portfolios.
The role is part of the Private Markets Joint Venture (J.V.) between Libfin and STANLIB’S Fixed Income franchise and aims to guide the origination of assets and portfolio construction and management for both Libfin and STANLIB’s third party investment portfolios. 
The Private Markets team reports into STANLIB Fixed Income investment franchise and this role reports into the Head of Fixed Income Private Markets.
The role includes being the lead Portfolio Manager (PM) for Sustainable Finance investment strategies, assets held on balance sheet and fund propositions, including developing the strategy and delivery plans for sustainable finance asset portfolios as part of the overall Fixed Income Private Markets strategy.
Sustainable Finance includes mainly infrastructure related assets, but also Development Finance (such as schools, hospitals, agri-concerns and other) private credit assets that may be deemed to be Sustainable Finance from time to time and by agreement.
Type of Qualification: BCom, or CA(SA), or CFA or similar.
Experience Required:
10 to12 years’ experience in a similar environment with broad exposure to complex structuring (including multiple financing options, multiple sectors, multiple instruments, corporate & asset-based lending)
