About the Role

As Portfolio Manager (f/m/x), you will focus on our Commercial & Industrial (C&I) venture within Enpal. You will manage and optimize lease portfolios, work closely with lenders and senior leadership, and gain hands-on experience in structured finance - all within a dynamic, fast-growing environment where your work directly impacts business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee C&I lease portfolios, ensuring covenant compliance, timely payments, and accurate reporting to lenders and stakeholders.
• Monitor loan agreements to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain strong communication with lenders, equity partners, and senior management, providing clear analyses of financial performance.
• Drive portfolio performance by identifying and implementing strategic initiatives to maximize returns.
• Review and validate financial reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with investor expectations. Collaborate with internal teams, including controlling and cash collection, to maintain data integrity.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Support structuring of new financing vehicles by leveraging portfolio expertise and partnering with the deal flow team.
• Work closely with the C&I Finance and Operational Team, supporting in scaling the refinancing operations.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; additional qualifications such as CPA, CMA, or CFA are a strong plus.
• Experience in portfolio management or structured finance, ideally within cashflow-intensive businesses such as real estate, infrastructure, or C&I.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, preferably based on German GAAP or IFRS.
• Experience managing complex financial data, loans, and covenants.
• Fluent in English; fluency in German is a strong plus.
