Position Summary
As a Porter in our Building Services department, you'll maintain a clean and organized environment across all CBN facilities. Your role will involve performing general cleaning activities and moving materials within production areas. This position is ideal for motivated self-starters looking to advance to skilled trade positions within the company. 
Responsibilities
• Perform general cleaning activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing, mopping, polishing floors, cleaning windows, removing garbage, collecting recycling, and stocking supplies. 
• Maintain the entire building, including administrative rooms, meeting rooms, common areas, cafeterias, locker rooms, and washrooms. 
• Move materials (goods on pallets) within specified production areas using carts, pallet jacks, mobile hydraulic lifts, and forklifts. 
• Ensure departments are stocked with required materials and transport finished goods to designated areas. 
• Adapt to dynamic daily tasks based on production demands and building traffic. 
• Prepare meeting rooms and client visit areas. 
• Various other duties and responsibilities. 
Mandatory Requirements
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
• Fluent in English (speak, read, write)
• Able to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance
• Able to work all shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends)
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the job:• Continuous standing and walking (95% of shift) 
• Bend, lift/lower, push/pull  
• Lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis 
• Climb up and down ladders 
• Work in a moderate to loud environment (ear protection provided)

• High school diploma
• Mechanical aptitude
