Join our Commissary team as a Porter / Receiver and play a key role in keeping our commissary kitchen in Bushwick, Brooklyn clean, stocked, organized, and operating at its best.
The Role
This is a physically active, behind-the-scenes position supporting daily commissary operations. You’ll be responsible for receiving deliveries, maintaining clean and organized storage areas, and completing daily cleaning tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general cleaning checklist daily
• Receive, inspect, label, and properly store all deliveries
• Learn basic product identification and storage standards
• Complete required receiving and food safety paperwork
• Check and log cooler and freezer temperatures daily
• Keep receiving, storage, and work areas clean and organized
• Take out trash and recycling daily
• Light maintenance tasks as needed or as assigned
Schedule
• Five days a week
• Must be available Sundays
• Current Shift Schedule:
• Sunday: 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Monday - Thursday: 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM

We cook all our meals from scratch each morning in our commissary kitchen and deliver them to our stores pre-packed and ready to go. At the end of each day, all unsold meals are donated to local food banks.
