PURPOSE OF POSITION
To utilize education and experience in the efficient operation, maintenance and repair of the physical plant, structure, utility services, equipment, fixtures, and furnishings for the hotel facility and associated buildings
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• You are required to work a 48 hrs. per week,
• You are  required to take 15 minutes breakfast half an hour for lunch each day at the Staff canteen 15 minutes tea break half an hour for dinner
• You are required to clean and monitor all the swimming pools assigned to you
• You are to maintain daily the water quality to the required standard level
• You are required to check and ensure that the pool area is clean and free from any hazard
• Monitor the pool water consumption and report any abnormalities
• Daily test of the pool water and ensure record are maintained
• Monitor and keep track of the material stock level and place the order accordingly.
• You are required to take proper care of all material and tool.
• Perform any necessary repairs to previously installed systems
• Keep up to date with current safety regulations and requirements for the various plumbing systems a company installs and maintains
• Work carefully to follow all current regulations for plumbing work to ensure that all installed systems pass inspections
• Communicate well with clients to ensure client satisfaction
• Communicate well with team members and fellow employees
• Manage a work log
• Keep detailed reports of work done at various job sites
• Perform preventive maintenance in related swimming pool filters / pumps / dosing systems and chlorinators
• Liaise with clients &/or other relevant personal.
• Keep clients informed of tasks completed &/or timeframes to complete tasks.
• Adheres to all company safety guidelines.
• Meets company attendance requirements.
• Meets company uniform appearance and grooming standards.
• You are required to keep your working environment clean and tidy free from all potential hazard
• Self-started and proactive profile
• Should be able to check your stock level needed during your shift duty
• Should have proper control and monitoring of the tools, equipment and materials to complete the job in a safe and efficient manner.
• You should be flexible towards tasks assigned
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determine the same as and when required
• Maintain the plant operation equipment and facilities in a clean and orderly condition.
• Ability to work extended hours if and when required.
• Respond to emergencies such as fire and environmental hazards.
• You will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other related duties as assigned by the management.  The hotel reserves the right to update, revise or change this job description and related duties at any time.

• Sound knowledge in pool treatment
• Knowledge in pool water treatment
• Basic knowledge in plumbing and electrical
• Knowledge in basic health and safety related to this field and you are required to abide to.
