Podcast Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Podcast Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in editing 9x16 vertical content for social media, particularly in the sports space. This role will play a key part in supporting ongoing and upcoming sports shows, as well as assisting with floating editorial needs across various content initiatives.

This position is fully remote and operates during U.S. business hours, M-F, 12 am - 9 am EST.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Edit and produce engaging 9x16 video content specifically designed for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and Snapchat.
• Enhance videos by adding captions, b-roll, images, and other engaging visual elements to improve viewer experience and storytelling.
• Collaborate closely with producers and show teams to meet content objectives, including support for a new sports show launching next week.
• Adapt to additional editorial needs across other shows or digital content initiatives as required.
• Ensure consistency and high-quality output in alignment with brand tone, visual style, and social media best practices.
• Meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote work environment.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Social Editor, with a strong portfolio that showcases your ability to create compelling 9x16 vertical video content.
• Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with Adobe Photoshop is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated expertise in enhancing video edits with captions, images, and supplemental visual content.
• Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail, pacing, and design aesthetics suited for social media.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in remote team settings.
• Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities and project requirements with flexibility and professionalism.
• Passion or interest in the sports content space is highly preferred.
