Job Description
We are looking for a PMO Support Consultant to join our team and contribute to the effective operation, reporting, and continuous improvement of the Project Management Office. You will support portfolio governance activities, reporting processes, and resource planning, ensuring high standards of accuracy, visibility, and coordination across projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience in PMO support, reporting, and portfolio coordination within structured IT or financial environments. The position is based on-site in Luxembourg.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and deliver monthly PMO reporting with high accuracy and quality standards
• Execute activities in line with the PMO monthly routines calendar and proactively raise issues or risks
• Maintain, improve, and automate PMO artefacts, templates, and tools
• Enhance, maintain, update, and test the resource management tool
• Support daily BAU PMO tasks and portfolio management operations
• Provide consolidated portfolio-level reporting to senior stakeholders and management
• Assist in estimating, forecasting, tracking actuals, and monitoring project performance
• Support process analysis, workflow creation, and automation initiatives
• Coordinate activities across multiple projects and stakeholders
• Document requirements clearly and represent them through structured reports and visual materials
• Ensure all activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
• University degree in IT or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in PMO support or portfolio/project coordination roles
• Experience supporting portfolio management functions within financial services, capital markets, or similar structured environments
• Proven experience in consolidated reporting to senior management
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with collaboration tools such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
• Good understanding of project methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
• Experience in project controlling, tracking, and reporting
• Ability to analyse processes and create structured workflows
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
• Excellent command of English
• Experience with presentation tools (ThinkCell, Power BI, Tableau) or scripting/automation tools (Python, VBA) is considered a plus
• Experience in process automation is considered a plus
