Plumbing Service Manager – Orlando, FL

R.J. Kielty Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electric is seeking an experienced Plumbing Service Manager to lead and grow our Orlando service operations.
This role is ideal for a leader who understands how to drive performance, develop teams, and deliver a high-level customer experience while maintaining strong operational control.
What You’ll Do
Oversee daily operations of the plumbing service department
Lead customer acquisition, retention, and resolution of escalated issues
Recruit, train, and retain service technicians and support staff
Support department growth through local marketing and performance initiatives
Oversee dispatch operations and optimize scheduling efficiency
Build and manage on-call schedules
Assist technicians with technical support and job pricing
Ensure jobs are completed properly, efficiently, and priced correctly
Follow up on estimates and identify revenue opportunities (including commercial work and remodels)
Conduct regular technician meetings and ongoing training
Monitor technician performance and provide coaching, reviews, and advancement opportunities
Maintain employee records and onboarding processes (BambooHR or similar systems)
Oversee warehouse coordination and material purchasing accuracy
Maintain organized, professional operations across the department
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5+ years of residential plumbing service experience
Proven leadership experience (Service Manager, Supervisor, or Lead role)
Strong understanding of service KPIs (revenue, average ticket, conversion, efficiency)
Experience with ServiceTitan or similar software preferred
Ability to lead both in the field and in the office
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
A mindset focused on accountability, consistency, and team development
