Rossmönster is seeking a Plumbing & Systems Technician to support the installation,
troubleshooting, and quality assurance of water, HVAC, and mechanical systems in our custom
adventure vehicles.
This role blends hands-on plumbing skills with RV/mobile-specific system work in a fast-paced,
collaborative shop environment.
What You’ll Do
• Install fresh and grey water tanks
• Run PEX and flexible lines for water systems
• Install and test water pumps, faucets, fittings, and water heaters
• Troubleshoot leaks, pressure issues, and general plumbing failures
• Work on HVAC components (fans, heaters, ducting, vents)
• Support 12V DC and 120V AC system installations connected to plumbing
• Fit plumbing systems into tight or unconventional spaces
• Collaborate with carpentry, electrical, and fabrication teams to ensure systems integrate
cleanly with cabinetry and structural components
• Perform pressure tests and full-system checks before vehicles leave the shop
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace

You have experience with plumbing installs, RV systems, marine systems, HVAC, or related
trades, and you enjoy solving problems in unique, custom environments.

Required Qualifications
• 2–5 years of plumbing, HVAC, RV/marine systems, or mechanical experience
• Strong understanding of PEX plumbing, water pumps, fittings, and pressure testing
• Ability to diagnose leaks and system issues
• Comfortable using standard shop and hand tools
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied positions throughout the day
• Reliable, quality-focused, and safety-minded
Preferred (Not Required)
• Experience with 12V/120V systems
• Background in van/RV builds, marine systems, or overland vehicles
• Experience working from plumbing diagrams or drawings
• Light carpentry or cabinetry experience
Logistics:
This is a full-time, onsite role based in Longmont, Colorado. The team operates on a 4×10
schedule, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays available for optional overtime or catch-up
work. From time to time, this role may also support evening or weekend efforts tied to vehicle
launches or special projects.
Compensation and Benefits
