Kimberley Regional Service Providers (KRSP) delivers essential services, capital works, and municipal services to Indigenous communities across Western Australia’s remote Kimberley region, including the management of power, water, and wastewater systems, as well as critical maintenance and capital works that enhance the quality of life of Indigenous communities.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our Capital Works team.
Working as part of a small team, you will undertake project works across a diverse range of assets, including the upgrade and installation of new potable water assets, such as bore fields, ground and elevated water storage, and pumping stations, as well as water distribution, filtration, treatment, and disinfection systems. The role also covers wastewater networks, pumping stations, sewer networks, and treatment ponds in remote Aboriginal communities.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a small team, motivated, and willing to undertake a variety of tasks to ensure the job is completed.
Location
The role operates on a drive in/drive out roster basis from Broome to remote communities in the Kimberley.
Local Kimberley residents are encouraged to apply, as are candidates interested in relocating to the Kimberley region. FIFO is available for those located outside of the Kimberley region generally on a 18:10 roster. Given the nature and location of our work, we need candidates who are flexible with these roster cycles.

Essential criteria:
Trade qualified plumber
Ability to work in remote areas cohesively as part of a small team
Self-motivated and resourceful individual capable of working independently
Ability to work in remote locations, inclusive of experience with driving on remote unsealed roads
Ability to work in a sub-tropical climate (wet/dry seasons)
C class drivers' licence
White Card
National Police Clearance
Unrestricted working rights in Australia
Excavator ticket
Skid Steer ticket
Desirable criteria:
Experience working in remote areas
Experience with plant and equipment, earthmoving equipment, and trucks
Experience working in remote communities
Confined Space Entry permit
First aid certification
Working at Heights competency
High Risk Licence – Elevated Work Platform
Wastewater network jetting and CCTV experience
Heavy Rigid vehicle drivers' licence
