Headquartered in Virginia, LanceSoft currently operates out of several locations in the US and Canada.
Actively support our PLM software user base. This person will need to troubleshoot and will have admin access to the system to help resolved issues. Think of this as an IT support position, but specifically for a PLM software.
Actively support the rollout of our process & system capabilities within the Life Sciences PLM platform and ensure long term sustainability/adherence.
Essential Responsibilities:
• The Process & Systems support consultant will engage with local team as well as a virtual, cross-functional team, and drives clarity on support issues that arise.
• Develop and maintain support documentation, best practice, leverage potential synergies, and document common processes and tools/systems where appropriate.
• Manage support tickets and questions, as well as user trainings of our PLM solution and processes and ultimately increase customer satisfaction.
• Support the ‘user community’ (within area of responsibility) and report to the central PLM team for any functional input (e.g. enhancement requests)
• Will have PLM solution administrator tasks to support urgent requests that require Admin rights in the system.
• Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and manage requests for changes to the specifications.
• Train and communicate on standardization
• Effectively communicate status, progress, issues, risks, plans to manager.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills: able to clearly communicate information in an easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, teamwork, networking skills, collaboration.
• Strong analytic skills, creative and business focused/result oriented problem solver
• Change agent with energy, passion & enthusiasm to support and drive change
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and take ownership for assigned tasks.
• Ability to multi-task & handle tasks with competing priorities effectively
• Familiarity with ISO, FDA and other regulatory standards
Desired Characteristics
• Demonstrated experience and functional knowledge of PLM related systems/tools
• Demonstrated experience/knowledge of Quality Management System related tools
• Demonstrated experience with regulations in the Medical Device and/or Pharmaceutical industries
• Demonstrated/Documented LEAN skills
