PLM/CAD Application Expert

We are searching for a business-oriented PLM CAD Expert at H&M. You will be part of the Interior Product team within Corporate Support (Business Tech), working closely with product engineers, buyers and other stakeholders within Store implementation.  

The team is geographically distributed between Stockholm and India and oversees the entire lifecycle of PLM and CAD solutions for non-commercial goods (E.g. shop interior, packaging, lighting etc), ensuring efficiency, cost savings, and smooth operations. Your role is essential in shaping flexible, modern, and sustainable technology solutions that deliver a user‑friendly, efficient, and value-added toolset for our business users. 

Your primary focus will be to enhance and optimize the functionality and integration of our Siemens PLM tools (Teamcenter, Active Workspace, and NX) in alignment with our strategic business objectives. Success in this role depends heavily on your ability to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively, and translate requirements into solutions that meet both business needs and cost‑efficiency goals. 

You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders to understand their processes and challenges, ensuring that our PLM solutions support high‑quality, scalable, and efficient ways of working. This requires not only strong analytical and solution‑oriented thinking, but also the confidence to question assumptions, challenge unclear requirements, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.  

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO    

• Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to shape solution designs, share best practices, and ensure PLM/CAD systems support strategic objectives. 
• Translate business needs into effective technical solutions, engaging with users and vendors, challenging unclear requirements, and ensuring scalable and cost-efficient outcomes. 
• Lead the implementation and continuous evolution of PLM/CAD systems (Teamcenter, Active Workspace, NX), ensuring alignment with business processes, quality standards, and operational goals. 
• Provide expert guidance on system capabilities, limitations, and technical options, proposing solution-oriented alternatives when needed. 
• Facilitate workshops and develop training materials tailored to users at different levels to drive adoption and effective usage. 
• Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication, precise requirement translation, and smooth solution delivery. 
• Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships across Business, Operations, and Technology to ensure architectural decisions meet evolving needs. 
• Incorporate feedback from research, users, and teams into solution development to ensure continuous improvement and a user-centric approach. 
• Support testing and quality assurance by preparing, executing, and documenting test activities to validate system functionality 
• Identify, track, and communicate system defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve them. 
• Report test results clearly and provide actionable insights based on quantitative and qualitative data. 

 

WHO YOU ARE  

• Experienced in integrating PLM/CAD software with business processes. 
• Alternatively, candidates with product development experience and a high level of technical curiosity are welcome to apply 
• Skilled in developing and facilitating workshops and training for users at different levels, including defining success criteria and measuring outcomes. 
• Analytical, solution-oriented, and able to work independently while managing multiple tasks. 
• Creative and innovative, always looking for ways to improve systems and ways of working. 
• The ability to communicate clearly and confidently in English is essential. Therefore, advanced proficiency in both spoken and written English is a mandatory requirement 

Additional Qualifications (Meriting) 

• Background in software engineering, system integration, or solution design. 
• Experience in retail or knowledge of retail operations.

Please note: As our culture and teamwork are very important to us, four days (80%) per week of in-office presence in our office are required. 

This is a full-time position with placement in Stockholm.
