What You Will Do

• Build and maintain security controls in our Cloud environment

• Build tooling to make security frictionless for Okta platform engineers

• Develop design patterns, standards and best practices for Cloud security

• Support our engineering teams in developing secure Cloud infrastructure

• Identify gaps in our security posture and prioritize remediation efforts

You’re a good fit for this role if:

• You have 5+ years of experience in Cloud Security Engineering

• You have strong knowledge of AWS or Azure or GCP services and security controls

• You have proficiency with at least one of the following languages

• Python

• Go

• JavaScript

• You have proficiency with writing and deploying Terraform code

• You have strong written and verbal communication skills

Bonus points if:

• You have experience in the identity and access management (IAM) domain.

• You have experience working with and securing containers and Kubernetes.

• You have experience working with a fully distributed, remote team in a highly dynamic Agile environment.

• You have a robust knowledge of security engineering and application security.

• You have experience with developer enablement and accelerating development teams through best practices and shared tooling.

Below is the annual salary range for candidates located in Canada. Your actual salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, RRSP with a match, healthcare spending, telemedicine, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in Canada is between:
$96,300—$146,300 CAD
