Requirements:
We are seeking a Platform Operations & Support Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of our digital, eCommerce, and loyalty platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor, maintain, and support customer-facing digital platforms and microservices.
• Provide Tier 2 support for eCommerce, loyalty, checkout, pricing, promotions, and personalization systems.
• Troubleshoot API, integration, and real-time data streaming issues (e.g., Kafka).
• Support relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server) for performance and data integrity.
• Enhance monitoring, logging, alerting, and participate in on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, product, and business teams to resolve incidents and improve reliability.
• Document system flows, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in eCommerce, retail, digital loyalty programs, or high-scale customer-facing platforms.
· Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
· Understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
· Experience with digital identity systems (OAuth, SSO, identity providers, token-based authentication).
· Familiarity with edge platforms (CDN, WAF, caching strategies).
