The Plant Manager oversees all daily operations of the plant, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production of decorative plasters and paints. This role is responsible for managing staff, optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer demand and company objectives
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the plant including batching, mixing, filling, and packaging of plasters and paints.
Maintain product quality standards and ensure compliance with technical specifications and industry regulations
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all workplace safety regulations (e.g., handling of chemical materials, PPE use, ventilation).
Ensure environmental compliance regarding waste management and emissions related to paint and plaster production.
Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and shipping of finished goods.
Monitor stock levels of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products.
Manage plant budget, control operational costs, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience in managing plant operations, including people leadership, production planning, and quality control.
Strong knowledge of production processes in coatings or plasters manufacturing.
Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
ERP and production management software proficiency (SAP etc.)
Good leadership and communication skills
