Job Description:
- Work schedule will include off shift, weekends and holidays. We will do everything possible to provide notice of schedule at least a week in advance - but emergencies will occur. There are currently roles open on 1st (6am), 2nd (2:30pm) and 3rd (10:30 pm. The shift will include weekends as a standard work day.
- Basic mechanical competency to work will focus on execution of planned maintenance replacements and refurbishments plus improvement kit upgrades. (bearings, conveyors, lubrication systems, presses, cams, lifts etc)
- Food manufacturing experience is a plus
- Work may also include on line production shift support for troubleshooting and repair of unplanned failures - especially as they ramp up to speed.
-Ability to read and interpret blue prints, maintenance manuals, operations manuals and part breakdown diagrams. Ability to draw a flow diagram and follow statistical process control principles necessary to administer the weight control policy
- IL6S experience/culture on their work output
- Focus will be on Velveeta Cheese or Pasta processing, filling and packaging
+Experience with flour, dough sheeting machines, Douglas or Delkore machines is a bonus.
-Must follow all Client safety and food safety policies to the letter. There may be situations where reminding Kraft workers to do same is needed.
- The expectation is that they are role models of professional behavior in safety, 5S, and defect identification and elimination, and attitude. They will need to coordinate and direct line crew as needed and assist peers as needed.
- SAP experience is a plus
- They have first-hand experience in our standards for QRP and LOTO.
