Plant Industrial Planning & scheduling Space (Temp Agency)

Job Description:

As an Industrial Planning & Scheduling Space at Airbus Defence and Space SAU, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust production plans and schedules for our complex space programs. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient resource utilization and on-time delivery of critical components and systems.

RESPONSABILITIES:

Develop and manage detailed industrial plans and schedules for various space projects, encompassing design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, and testing phases.

Collaborate closely with manuf. engineering, production, procurement, and quality teams to gather requirements, and ensure a robust plan alignment.
Implement and maintain planning tools and software (e.g., SAP, MS Project, Planisware or specialized planning applications) to track progress, identify deviations, and generate reports.

Proactively identify and analyze potential production constraints, resource conflicts, and schedule risks, proposing mitigation strategies.
Develop "what-if" scenarios and contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges and maintain project timelines.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, schedule adherence, and resource utilization, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Participate in industrial/manuf. readiness reviews and provide input on manufacturing feasibility and capacity.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and methodologies within the space sector.

Support cost control initiatives by optimizing resource allocation and production lead times.

SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in industrial planning, production scheduling, or project management within a complex manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace or space industry.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
