Planning & Scheduling Engineer

We are seeking a Planning & Scheduling Engineer with proven expertise in Primavera and extensive experience in construction contracting companies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and monitoring project schedules, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and technical requirements.

Requirements:
• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 to ensure timely project completion.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
• Identify potential delays, risks, and bottlenecks, proposing corrective actions to mitigate impacts.
• Prepare accurate progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and clients.
• Supervise and collaborate with administrative, accounting, and procurement teams to streamline project operations.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and industry standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to secure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Support budget tracking and cost control by integrating schedule updates with financial data.
• Conduct site visits to assess work progress, validate reporting accuracy, and resolve operational challenges.
• Implement and enhance planning and project management tools for improved monitoring and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in planning, scheduling, and project controls within construction contracting.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory), with strong knowledge of MS Project and other project management tools.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, coordinate tasks, and drive workflow efficiency.
• Analytical Thinking: Skilled in identifying delays, risks, and inefficiencies and implementing practical solutions.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear reports and presentations.
• Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making, adaptability, and hands-on approach to project challenges.
