Your mission:
PETER DÖHLE Schiffahrts-KG is a provider of global maritime services with roots in Hamburg and home ports all over the world. To support our Shipmanagement at the next possible time, we are looking for an Planned Maintenance System (PMS) Manager (m/f/d).
• Responsible for the overall and standardized implementation and administration of the PMS
• Establishing and maintaining part trees with relevant jobs and schedules in the PMS
• Proactively identifying opportunities for process optimization and recommending improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the PMS
• Correcting errors and issues within the PMS tree structure and schedules as requested by the vessel or any other involved stakeholder
• Updating the PMS with changes resulting from new regulations or other new technical and operational information from makers, suppliers or other 3rd parties
• Staying up-to-date with international standards, industry best practices and integrate them into the PMS schedules
• Administering the PMS software itself upon request from a vessel or if any issues are noticed, as needed by consulting and involving the software provider
• Ensuring certification of the individual system by classification society
• Supporting the technical management and QHSE team to identify and address adverse PMS trends and deviation from processes
Your profile:
• Degree in engineering sciences, maritime background, and/or seagoing experience as chief or second engineer
• Preferred with experience in an equivalent ship management function and knowledge of planned maintenance software systems
• Excellent technical understanding and awareness of requirements involved in the safe and efficient ship management
• Strong knowledge of vessel classification and technical maintenance requirements
• Interest to work in a team with interfaces to the ship entire management, vessels, and other internal as well external stakeholders
• Good at coordinating and prioritizing tasks and having analytical skills
• Experienced with MS Office and MS 365
• Good communication and fluent Englisch skills, both written and spoken
• A high degree of quality awareness, reliability, and desire for an international environment
