Responsibilities:
Lead, direct, and mentor pipefitters, installers, and apprentices.
Assign daily tasks, manage crew productivity, and ensure work is completed on schedule.
Provide hands‑on guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Promote a positive, safe, and professional work environment.
Oversee the installation of pipe systems including carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, PVC, and other materials as required.
Direct activities such as cutting, threading, grooving, fitting, and welding of piping systems.
Ensure proper installation of valves, fittings, supports, and hangers.
Verify alignment, elevations, slopes, and system integrity.
Read and interpret blueprints, isometrics, specifications, and piping schematics.
Coordinate workflow with project managers, welders, inspectors, and other trades.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in pipefitting or piping systems installation.
2+ years of experience in a foreman or lead role.
Strong knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation methods.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometrics, and specifications.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
