Job Description

Burgess Civil is currently seeking experienced Pipe Layers, Hillman/Taliman to join our team.

Pipelayer:
Responsible for assembling, aligning, and installing water, sewer, and drainage pipe systems. Duties include preparing trenches, cutting and sealing pipes, connecting joints with cement, glue, or welding, and backfilling once installation is complete. May also locate and remove existing pipes using specialized tools.

Hillman/Tailman:
Support underground utility installation by assisting the pipe crew with safe and efficient placement of water, sewer, and drainage systems. Perform complementary tasks to ensure projects are completed to quality and safety standards.

Requirements and Physical Expectations:

At least 1-2 years of experience

Reliable transportation.

All positions require that you travel to different locations based on business needs.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Ability to lift 50 or more pounds and ability to lift, carry, bend, crawl, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, and crouch and able to stand for long period of time

Ability to work in varying weather conditions and on different terrain types

Pay: Compensation will be based on experience.

Must be able to pass a drug test.
