Mariana Minerals is looking for a highly motivated Pilot Plant Technician to work on building the critical minerals supply chain.

What You'll Do

• Assist Engineers and other Technicians to run chemical processes such as precipitation, filtration, ion exchange, and membrane concentration.

• Perform safe chemical process equipment and instrumentation troubleshooting, and maintenance

• Work to identify and optimize process conditions as well as install and test new process equipment

• Ensure operations area is kept maintained in terms of material storage, and cleanliness. Adhere to company policies of safety and conduct

• Maintain spare parts list and ensure all equipment/tooling is prepared to perform maintenance. Assist in design, purchase, and commissioning new equipment

• Document procedures, key observations and record experimental data

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of experience operating safely in hands-on pilot operation, or equipment maintenance environment

• Experience of high temperature, solid handling process and operation is a plus

• Experience in tube fitting, piping fabrication and/or assembly is a plus

• Experience with hand and power tools is a plus

• Experience with lock out, tag out (LOTO), reviewing equipment drawings, PFDs or P&IDs is a plus

• Basic knowledge of inorganic chemistry, pH and reaction stoichiometry a plus

• Climb stairs, stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
